One Response to “Old Brick Buildings”

  1. Jim Gravelle Says:

Any advice on how to date my Ohio brick house? I can trace tax records to 1843, but that’s it. The house and 1,000 acre property is mentioned in the will of Virginian Col Stephenson (dated 1845) as part of the Virginia Military District award he received post revolutionary war: “The brick house at ther corner of the Bynner Free Pike.” We are in Brown Township, 15 miles west of Columbus, Ohio. We have lived there since 1976 and restoration with modern infrastructure is complete. Thank you.
